# Ergaenzung — Supplementary Practice Books Index

These are the Hueber *Deutsch üben* practice books, used alongside
*Menschen* A1.1 (not a replacement for it). They're organized by their own
topic/unit structure, not by Menschen Lektion — see the "Relates to
Menschen Lektion(en)" column below to cross-reference.

## Wortschatz & Grammatik A1 (`wortschatz-grammatik-a1/`)

Filed one section per lettered Abschnitt (matching the book's own Inhalt),
not per tiny sub-exercise (A1, A2 ...) — sub-exercises are summarized
inside each Abschnitt file instead.

**Wortschatz & Grammatik A1 is now fully processed (Abschnitt A–Q,
103 sub-exercises).** Grammar beyond Menschen A1.1 introduced across
Teil 2: Imperativ (I), müssen/wollen/dürfen (I), Präteritum sein/haben
full paradigm (I), würden-Bitten/Konjunktiv II (I, ~A2), Possessivartikel
case declension (J), Komparativ/Superlativ of gut/viel/gern (K), Dativ
pronouns + Demonstrativpronomen (L), wohin/wo/woher system + Akkusativ/
Dativ prepositions (M), coordinating conjunctions denn/aber/oder (P),
Ordinalzahlen/date-writing (Q).

## Hören & Sprechen A1 (`hoeren-sprechen-a1/`)

## Lesen & Schreiben A1 (`lesen-schreiben-a1/`)

Filed one section per lettered Abschnitt (A–H), same convention as
Wortschatz & Grammatik. **The main PDF (`Hueber Lesen & Schreiben
A1.pdf`) is missing its official Lösungen pages — every copy found
online was cropped the same way.** The user separately scanned the
missing Lösungen pages from a physical copy (12 pages, pp. 85–96) and
supplied them directly, so every `abschnitt-X.md` in this book now cites
**official, publisher-verified answers** — no more derived/guessed
answers. If that scan is ever needed again, ask the user (it was
provided as a one-off file, not saved into this repo/D:\DL\Documents).

**Lesen & Schreiben A1 is now fully processed (Abschnitt A–H, 22
sub-exercises).** Grammar beyond Menschen A1.1 introduced across this
book: wollen/dürfen (C), vor/seit (H); Possessivartikel sein/ihr and
Dativ pronoun work recur throughout (B, E) alongside the Wortschatz &
Grammatik book's parallel coverage.

## Hören & Sprechen A1 (`hoeren-sprechen-a1/`)

Filed one section per lettered Abschnitt (A–H), same convention as the
other two books. Source file: `Hoeren_und_SprechenA1Lehrer.ir.pdf`
(confirmed to be the genuine Hueber *deutsch üben Hören & Sprechen A1*).
This book is self-contained: every exercise's full spoken text and
correct answers are printed on the very next "Lösung" page, so no
external audio or separate answer key was needed. Recurring characters
Lisa and Paul appear across multiple sections.

Note: a second file, `meh-a11-transkriptionen.pdf`, was checked and
found to be Transkriptionen for **"Menschen *hier* A1.1"** — a distinct
BAMF integration-course edition, not the standard *Menschen A1.1* used
for this repo's `A1.1/` lesson files. Set aside per user decision
(2026-09-10); not used anywhere in this repo.
