Question words drilled in context: Wie, Woher, Wo, Wann, Was, Wie lange, Seit wann. N2 requires building the question entirely from a given answer (no word bank) — a good production-level check on whether W-Fragen are internalized, not just recognized.

N3: Ja/Nein-Fragen mit "wirklich" (reinforces Menschen L1)

Converts statements into yes/no confirmation questions using "wirklich" (really): "Ich heiße Mona." → "Heißen Sie wirklich Mona?" Requires correct V1 (verb-first) word order for yes/no questions.

N4: ja / nein / doch — systematic drill, extends Menschen L3

Tipp: Negative Frage → positive Antwort: doch! (A negative question answered affirmatively always takes doch, never ja — this is the single most important rule in this section, since English "yes" doesn't distinguish these two cases the way German does.)

Notes / gotchas

• N4's doch rule is the highest-value grammar point in this section — English speakers systematically get this wrong because English has no equivalent third answer word. Worth drilling this explicitly and repeatedly, since it's a genuine, persistent trouble spot.
• N2 and N3 are good "production" exercises (build the full question yourself) rather than "recognition" exercises (fill a blank) — useful for checking whether W-Fragen/Ja-Nein-Fragen word order is truly internalized, not just pattern-matched.
• This section is a direct, thorough reinforcement of Menschen L1 and L3 with no major new grammar — good for consolidation practice rather than introducing new material.
