+contractions follow the standard maskulin/neutral -m, feminin -r
+pattern.

+### E1c/d: es gibt + Akkusativ (reinforces Menschen L6)
+"Es gibt in der Nähe einen Supermarkt" / "In der Nähe gibt es einen
+Supermarkt" — both word orders keep the verb in position II, and the
+noun after "es gibt" is always Akkusativ regardless of sentence order.

+## Notes / gotchas
+
+- **E1's Dativ contraction table (in dem/einem, in der/einer) is worth
+  keeping as a standing reference** — it's a clean, minimal statement of
+  the wo?-question Dativ pattern that recurs across all three
+  supplementary books.
+- **E2 is realistic, information-dense reading** (real classified-ad
+  style German, abbreviations like "Nähe Flughafen", "ab sofort") —
+  good bridge toward reading authentic materials beyond textbook
+  German.
+- **E3d's capitalization note is a genuine, non-obvious point**: in
+  personal letters/cards/emails, German optionally capitalizes the
+  informal address pronouns (Dich, Dir, Euch) as a sign of respect —
+  the book's own Lösungen text uses lowercase throughout for
+  simplicity, but flags that either is acceptable, and native speakers
+  vary in practice. Worth mentioning to the student since it can look
+  like an error either way if they don't know it's a stylistic choice.
+- **E3e continues the Dativ pronoun thread** from the Wortschatz &
+  Grammatik book (Abschnitt L) and Abschnitt B of this book (B5's
