  complements (reinforces L1/L4/L7/L9/L11, extends Dativ work)
- P Konjunktionen: denn/aber/oder (new, not in Menschen A1.1)
- Q Zahlen: cardinal number review, ordinal numbers and date-writing
  (new beyond L4/L8's cardinal numbers and clock times)

Wortschatz & Grammatik A1 is now fully processed end to end
(Abschnitt A-Q, 103 sub-exercises). INDEX.md summarizes which grammar
points across Teil 2 go beyond Menschen A1.1's scope.

+
+- Skill focus: Grammatik (coordinating conjunctions: denn, aber, oder)
+- Topic: connecting two independent clauses with denn/aber/oder in

+- Relates to *Menschen* Lektion(en): mostly **new** — Menschen A1.1 does
+  not formally teach coordinating conjunctions. Sentences up to L12 stay
+  mostly simple/single-clause; connecting two full clauses with
+  denn/aber/oder is a genuine step beyond the main course's scope,
+  though a natural and important one for producing more fluent speech.

+Unlike subordinating conjunctions (weil, dass, wenn — not covered in
+this book at all), these three **coordinating** conjunctions do **not**
+send the verb to the end of the clause — both halves of the sentence
+keep standard verb-second word order. This makes them the easiest
+connector type to start with.

+- **This section is genuinely new grammar** relative to Menschen A1.1 —
+  but it's low-complexity new grammar (word order doesn't change), so
+  it's a good, gentle first step beyond the main course rather than a
+  steep jump.
+- **This is the shortest grammar topic in the book (2 sub-exercises, 2
+  pages)** — pairs naturally with a review of any earlier section for a
+  single combined study session.
+- **Worth flagging what's still missing**: subordinating conjunctions
+  (weil, dass, wenn, ob), which **do** send the verb to the end, are not
+  covered anywhere in this book — that's a genuine gap relative to full
+  A1/A2 competence, and would need a different resource.
